Our Back Story

Our catering journey began in Portsmouth, Hampshire, with a single ex-Walls ice cream tricycle from the 1940s. Driven by a passion for food and a desire to work together as a family, Peter meticulously restored it to its former glory. We began serving classic vanilla ice cream on the quay at the prestigious Gunwharf Quays designer outlet, laying the foundation for our future in mobile catering.

From that initial tricycle, our business blossomed. We expanded our offerings within mobile catering concessions, adding hot roast meat baps, homemade fudge, Belgian chocolates, fresh-baked cookies, and barista coffees. We cherished the opportunity to connect with our customers and create memorable experiences.

After 14 very successful years, we craved a change of scenery and embarked on a new chapter. We relocated to the beautiful West Midlands countryside along with our four children, bringing our catering passion with us.

Here, we reinvented our mobile catering concept, focusing on private events like weddings, parties, and corporate gatherings. Peter, a skilled craftsman, transformed our ice cream tricycles. The first creation was our charming mobile crêperie, equipped with a double crêpe machine to craft delicious sweet and savoury French crêpes.

During the 2020 lockdown, Peter's ingenuity shone through. He designed and built a magnificent wood-fired pizza oven that fits perfectly on a tricycle. This 165kg copper-clad beauty cooks pizzas to perfection in just 90 seconds, adding another exciting dimension to our mobile catering offerings.

And so, our journey continues.....
